So, ive been in a nice lil rut for bout a week or 2... no real reason other than its just that time lol. No worries, back to the normal (drinkin, workin out, writing) lol. I've realized that although I've been putting in tons of work and effort in aspects of my life, I could always do more. Thats why I've increased my drive and responsibilities, especially when it comes to my music. Ive started taking a more hands on approach to all aspects of my music, from pictures, photoshop, writing all the time (to the point where ive zoned out in social situations numerous times lol), making music, and networking. This is extremely important because of the fact that no one has to do anything for me. The amount of control and input is very important to me, because I take this very seriously. Music is my life, my love, my dream, and my reality. So if Im going to do it, Im going to do it right, and have input on everything.
Ive put off buying equipment for a while but that changes. I did get a new computer to replace the one that was ruined (RIP Blue). By the end of february, I plan on having everything I need, to complete what I want to accomplish (and I might have a show in Feb. *crosses fingers*). Now is the time to take what I feel I deserve.
This lil week long bout of "depression"(if u wanna call it that, i call it... downtime lol) has helped me see things more ways. Still me, but different things take different approaches. Its helped me with writing songs, making tracks for songs, and carrying out my business. Ive started bout 4 beats in this week, joined this lil Brother 2 Brother group that was coo, and have been refocused. All I can say is... smile, thats what Im doing lol.
