Decided to try a live blog for the Bears/Panthers game in Carolina.... so far...
12:02- Apparently the heat index could get up to 115? Damn.
12:08- The defense is lookin good early...
12:09- Already smashin on em, blocked punt returned for a touchdown... we gon be a problem this year...
12:19- Sack by Alex Brown... finally we get to see the Bears Offense... Lets see how Orton does...
12:28- PHUCK Greg Olsen! Good field position... CAR 25 yd line.... and he fumbles the ball? Wasted opportunities for a Offense that isnt all that strong in the 1st place...
12:37- Defense gets us the ball back... Offense is lookin good (minus Greg fuckin Olsen droppin the ball), Orton looks like a professional for once, movin the chains...
12:51- After a long drive... they only get 3... but right now 10-0 works... Bears: 151 yds- Panthers: 20 yds. Time for the D to get em...
1:48- Tillman...Interception! Makes up for that long Mushin Muhammed catch they gave up... takeaways!
1:50- Touchdown McKie... 17-3....
2:02- Defense holds... CAR field goal.. Bears still up 17-6... Offense is comin back on...
2:10- ANOTHER OLSEN FUMBLE!?!!?!? Fire this muhfukka....2 fumbles?!?! U supposed to be the shit... Miami dood, a actual great tight end... but this nigga's failing
2:12- ...and it leads to a Carolina touchdown... Des Clark >>>> Greg "Vaseline hands" Olsen.... 17-13
2:54- Now were losing.... fuck............
3:05- And now its all over... shitty play calling on that last drive... failed 4th and 1.... shit....
Yeah its pretty much over..... Car-20 Chi-17...... Bears: 1-1... it was an alright game.... penalties killed us... but not more than 2 fumbles by Greg Olsen.... turnovers killed us... well..
Next Week- Week 3: Tampa Bay @ Home... Home opener.... lets try and right the ship shall we....
Its been way to damn long since theres been something to watch... ive been buying my time with baseball. While I am a fan (and my team is in 1st place: White Sox! AL Central whats good!) theres nothin like the prospect of a violent game played in snow/rain/ whatever.
But the thing I had been waiting on... Football Season.
Last Year = Maaaaaaaad disappointing for my Chicago Bears. Coming off of a 13-3 season and a Super Bowl appearance, people still expected them to smash thru the NFC, hell the NFC North at least... but shit aint turn out that way... not at all...
7-9....Low key... shit was depressin... BUT...
ITS A NEW PHUCKIN YEAR!
and we got a chance to avenge our defeat from that Super Bowl... and avenge we did.
Smashin on em! 1-0 so far. Off to a good start. Defense was lookin good, forcin fumbles, forcin a safety, Orton (Boiler Up niggas) managed the game well, some well thrown passes, but my dood Matt Forte... for a rook on his 1st game in the league... put up 123 including a 50 yd td run. All i gotta say is im lookin forward to this season, get us back to the Superbowl so we can smash on someone else.
Monsters of the Midway are back bitches.
